Barnabas (/ˈbɑːrnəbəs/; Greek: Βαρνάβας), born Joseph, was according to tradition an early Christian, one of the prominent Christian disciples in Jerusalem. According to Acts 4:36, Barnabas was a Cypriot Jew. Named an apostle in Acts 14:14, he and Paul the Apostle under took missionary journeys together and defended Gentile converts against the Judaizers. They traveled together making more converts (c. 45–47), and participated in the Council of Jerusalem (c. 50). Barnabas and Paul successfully evangelized among the “God-fearing” Gentiles who attended synagogues in various Hellenized cities of Anatolia.

How can I achieve success?
Hello and welcome to the motivational talk. I will like to share with you one of the vital keys to success in life. There are many keys that must be put together for you to achieve success in life, but one key is fundamental. I am not saying that this key is the most important and others doesn’t count, No, but this key is the beginning for the beginning of success. I can assure you that once the key is gotten rightly, other keys will fall in pleasant places.
This key serves as the foundation for success in life and destiny. As long as I have lived, engineers and builders don’t take the issue of foundation for a building with levity, and I must tell you that this key which is the foundation for success in any aspects of your life must not be taken with levity.
The key looks minute or not important, but what I will tell you is that, you are wrong, and what is that key? THOUGHT
YOUR THOUGHTS
Your thoughts play many role in your life. It affects many things about you. Henry Ford said, “If you believe you can or you can’t, you are right”. Why? Because its your thought. You can’t grow above your thoughts.
Cambridge Advanced Dictionary defines thoughts as the act of thinking/considering something on idea or opinion. A French philosopher in the 18th century came out with a quote saying “I think, therefore I exist“. He was right, but I must tell you that there is a difference between existing and living. If you will like to choose between living and existing, I’m pretty sure, you will prefer to choose living and not to just exist alone. How can you live and not just mere existing (adding to the world population), it start from your thoughts.
Proverb 4:23 (CEV) says carefully guide your thoughts because they are true sources of life.
